Mariasteinerhof was a wonderful stopover for my family as we journeyed to the Dolomites. We aimed for convenience, and the hotel's location, just off the motorway yet surrounded by lush scenery, proved ideal. Despite frequent rain, we found enjoyment in exploring the nearby hiking trails suitable for all ages. The cozy top-floor room offered a charming view of a church, which became a delightful backdrop during our stay. The restaurant provided substantial meals, with breakfast including a delectable rhubarb pie that remains a highlight. The staff was accommodating, storing our food in their freezer, a reflection of the welcoming atmosphere. For families seeking outdoor adventure, I recommend visiting the nearby Woergler Waterworld and the Hohe Salve Cable Car. It's a solid choice for family vacations.
